Karan Johar's much-anticipated 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. Alia plays a Bengali (Rani) while Ranveer AKA Rocky plays a Punjabi boy in the film. While the dramatic clash between the two families will be fascinating to see.
As the release of the movie is approaching the filmmakers organised a special screening of the movie, which was attended by the main cast and the who's who of Bollywood. Alia Bhatt attended the screening with her husband, Ranbir Kapoor. The duo made a fashionable appearance together, capturing the attention of the paparazzi and fans. Ranveer Singh also made an impression with his distinctive fashion sense. Deepika Padukone, on the other hand, was missing from the star-studded event. The reason for her absence is still not known.

The screen was attended by many of B-town’s A-listers including Abhishek Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Sara Ali Khan, Gauri Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, Malaika Arora, Neetu Kapoor and Mahesh Bhatt. Jaya Bachchan who will be seen playing Ranveer’s grandmother, also attended the special screening of the film.
'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,' directed by Karan Johar, has already generated quite a stir among moviegoers. The film is expected to be an intense love story that delves into the complexity of relationships and family dynamics. Audiences are eagerly awaiting the release of the film, which stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles. This film also marks Karan Johar’s return to director’s chair after 7 years of hiatus.
For the unversed, Alia and Ranveer will be sharing the screen space for the second time post the success of ‘Gully Boy’. The film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in key roles. The film is slated to hit theatres on July 28, 2023.
On the work front, apart from ‘Rocky aur Rani kii Prem Kahaani’ both Ranveer and Alia has interesting projects in their kitty. Ranveer Singh will once again collaborate with master craftsman Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the next historical drama ‘Baiju Bawra’. Alia Bhatt, on the other hand, is currently looking forward to her Hollywood debut with ‘Heart of Stone’.
