In an interview with Anupama Chopra for Film Companion, Deepika Padukone shared some interesting titbits about their relationship. Deepika not only confessed how they respect each other, just like any other couple but also mentioned how they have their own ups and downs where they do find a middle ground, to settle each other in every aspect.
Speaking about her husband, and their relationship, Deepika said to Film Companion, "It's not an argument. See when he's doing his own thing, he can do whatever he wants but when it’s together, it's two people, two personalities, two careers, there is so much to think about. So, both of us have to be sensitive to that."
"And most often we are able to find this middle path. Both of us take some, give some and find that middle path. Eventually, find the path that works best for us," the actress further added.
Deepika Padukone concluded, "I'm always trying to put a leash on him. He understands and I also have wrapped my head around. That just gives him a lot of joy and that's just who he is. I don't think I can and should change that inherent part of him. So he's having fun. It's fine."
On the work front, Deepika Padukone will be next seen in 'Fighter' opposite Hrithik Roshan, 'Pathan' with Shah Rukh Khan, Shakun Batra's yet-untitled film, Prabhas's 'Project K', The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan and '83' along with her husband Ranveer Singh.
The couple got married in an intimate ceremony in Italy in the year 2018. Meanwhile, on the work front, the two will be seen sharing screen space in Kabir Khan’s directorial ’83’ after their last film together, ‘Padmaavat’.
