Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif turn gym buddies; watch

Deepika Padukone dropped a sweet treat for fans on Thursday morning on her Instagram page. The actress shared a video giving a glimpse into her day at the gym. And to everyone's surprise, Deepika had Katrina Kaif as her gym buddy for the day. 

Deepika shared a video where someone can be seen lying inside a temporary hammock made inside a gym. In the caption, Deepika revealed that it was Katrina inside the hammock. "Me working really hard in the gym! Meanwhile, @katrinakaif upto no good me…" Deepika wrote sharing the video.

Commenting on the post, Ishaan wrote, "The Mummy Returns". Varun Dhawan wrote, "hahaha". Fans were pleasantly surprised to see the two working out together as they were pitted against each other in the early years of their career. It was also reported there was a rift between them as they both had dated actor Ranbir Kapoor in the past.

Katrina is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Phone Bhoot which also stars Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Deepika, on the other hand, will next be seen on the big screen in the film Pathaan opposite Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. The film will be released in theatres in January.
