The trailer of 'Kaagaz 2' sees Darshan Kumaar perform some sharp stunt sequences. Talking about preparing for his role, the actor reveals, "I am playing an IMA (Indian Military Academy) student. I started learning to march first. I used to sleep on a mat to get the body language right and did multiple reading sessions. Before the release of the film, I had gone to Ladakh where I stayed with army men. We went and hoisted the national flag there and I also gave the first clap for the film over there. Satish ji said that we are making this film for our real heroes-the army people".
Darshan says that the film has many layers to it. "The story is the hero of the film. The film talks about today's youth, major issues of rallies, it talks about modern families and how kids suffer from divorces, father-son relationship, and mother-son bond. It is a full package of emotions, drama, and social message," he shared.
