Weber teams up with Battle Star Wars make-up artiste Moroni to sport 10 different looks in his upcoming single, Stay with me
Daniel Weber
To Daniel Weber, Stay with me will probably be one of his most memorable singles. Reason— there’s more to the love ballad than his singing prowess. In the music video that will be released this week, he has donned 10 looks, going from a young lover to a man in the autumn of his life, as the song highlights the enduring nature of love. Weber collaborated with one of Hollywood’s best prosthetics artistes, Nicole Moroni, who recently served as the make-up artiste on Battle Star Wars (2020), for the track.

Stay with me was shot in Los Angeles in June. Before facing the camera each day, Weber and Moroni spent over seven hours in the make-up room, perfecting each transformation. A source from the unit reveals, “In the song, Weber morphs into different personas, each representing a different stage of his journey in love. From a love-struck romantic to a weathered lover standing the test of time, every look tells an emotionally charged story.”
Director James Thomas filmed the number in outdoor locations of Los Angeles, with the setting accentuating the protagonist’s mood and yearning. Weber says he thoroughly enjoyed the process, even though it was arduous. “Creativity can know no bounds. It took hours of patience and dedication to perfect each look, but I knew that every moment spent in that chair was essential to get this music video right.”
