Celina Jaitley is known for speaking her mind and not shying away from standing up against trolls. Recently, she again demonstrated this by responding firmly to a troll who made a disrespectful comment about her.

Celina Jaitley slams troll

On February 7, a video surfaced of Celina Jaitley responding firmly to a troll's inappropriate comment on her Instagram. The troll suggested that Celina's role should be limited to revealing her body rather than commenting on international affairs. "Dear Celina, ur job is to reveal ur body in bikini or nude rather than commenting on international affairs (sic.)" The comment read.

Unhappy with the remark, Celina, in a unique manner, adopted a Bihari accent, questioning the troll's manners and education, she asserted that she knew this type of a human being, and ultimately gestured a symbolic slap while advising the troll to focus on their own business.

Celina Jaitley encourages young girls

Celina Jaitly recently addressed the struggles faced by young girls dealing with negative comments about their brown skin tone and the desire to resemble Barbie. She passionately discouraged the pursuit of an unrealistic doll-like appearance and emphasized the beauty in every skin color. Celina shared that her response was prompted by a heartfelt message from a girl expressing dissatisfaction with her own brown complexion.

In a thoughtful post accompanied by a beautiful self-portrait, Celina quoted the girl saying, "Didi, I hate my brown skin…". This candid revelation from the teenager inspired Celina to create a version of her photo aimed at challenging traditional beauty standards.

The actress shared the girl's plea in her note: "Didi, I want to look like you and be a real Barbie who is fair and has your eyes. I hate my brown skin color and black eyes and hair. Everyone makes fun of my dark color, and people from my neighbor's house call me 'brown bakri' (goat). How can I be like you? Why am I like this?"

Celina linked this narrative to the impact of the prevailing Barbie trend and reflected on the lack of authentic and inclusive representations of various ethnicities and races on social media. She raised concerns about the whitewashing trend in AI-generated Barbie images, contemplating her own role in shaping beauty ideals.
