Following Aryan Khan's arrest by the NCB, Shah Rukh Khan's work commitments are being put on hold. Hitlist reported last week that Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone would kick off Pathan’s first international schedule on October 10 in Spain. However, according to sources, the three-week schedule of Siddharth Anand’s directorial venture has been postponed in light of recent events.

Last Saturday, Shah Rukh Khan was shooting for his next untitled film with South director Atlee at South Mumbai’s BD Petit Parsee General Hospital. However, his remaining scenes of the film were shot by his body double Prashant Walde on Sunday, reports Bollywood Hungama.
Prashant Walde confirmed to the portal saying, "20 days of shoot is over. Around 180 days of shoot is still left." Hoping this crisis for the actor gets over soon he further said, "Bollywood ko chalane mein kuch logon hi haath hai. Ek insaan ki wajah se hazaaron logon ka ghar chalta hai. So it's obvious that if he (Shah Rukh Khan) doesn't work, then so many people will get affected. With great difficultly, things have come on track after the lockdown and now this problem has erupted."
Walde however is unsure about what happens to Pathan. Hitlist quoted a trade source as saying, “While Siddharth and his unit were to head to Spain on October 7, Shah Rukh and Deepika were to fly out the next day. But with the latest events, it has been a tense situation for the superstar. Right now, the shoot of Pathan is the last thing on anyone’s mind. There is no question of going ahead with the foreign schedule without Shah Rukh. The dates will likely be reworked after things settle down in Mumbai.”
Many from the industry have expressed solidarity with Khan, with close friend Salman Khan dropping in to meet him on Sunday night.
