Actor-producer Arbaaz Khan got married for the second time in December last year. He married make-up artist Sshura Khan whom he met on the sets of his upcoming film. The couple had an intimate ceremony at Arbaaz's sister Arpita Khan's home in Mumbai. Around the same time, Arbaaz Khan's ex-girlfriend Giorgia Andriani had spoken about her relationship and break-up with the actor in interviews. The 'Dabangg' actor has now reacted to the interviews calling them "unnecessary and inappropriate".

Talking to Indian Express about the timing of Giorgia opening up about their break-up, Arbaaz said,  “I was done with my previous relationship almost two years before I even met her (Sshura)."

Arbaaz further said, “I know some of the recent interviews somehow give the feeling that things were right till the end, which is not true. It is unfortunate that I have to sit here and make such clarification but my previous relationship was over almost one and half years before I even met Sshura. I had a year of dating period with her. There was no timeline given in those interviews and such interviews make people believe that ‘Oh I moved from this into that’. But that’s not true. I was not dating anyone for almost a year and a half till I met Sshura. That is the reality.”

“The timing of somebody speaking about a breakup just around the time I was getting married and post my marriage, seems a little inappropriate. If you have broken up almost two years back and you didn’t have the option to speak about it then, then to speak about it now, doesn’t seem right," he added.

Actor Arbaaz Khan also feels that Giorgia should have never discussed their personal life in public. He believes that she should have let the past be and instead should have said, "The world knew I was dating this person, now he has moved on, I have moved on, probably he is seeing someone else at this point and it is not appropriate for me to talk.” He added that it was 'not necessary' to talk about their break-up at a time he was about to get married.

“I don’t know what may have compelled somebody to do that, but now all is well and one wishes people who were in the past well as well. I know they have moved on and they had moved on a long back, it’s just that the timing of the interviews without giving a timeline as to when they were separated was not… I was waiting for an opportunity to speak about it. When you talk about certain things you have to be mindful and careful because you are talking about somebody else,” said Arbaaz.

In December 2023, a few days before Arbaaz Khan’s wedding to Sshura Khan, Giorgia Andriani opened up about her breakup with him after dating for four years. She told Hindustan Times, “It took us a long time to make this decision, but we eventually decided to part ways mutually. We had a distinct point of view about our future plans and lives in general.” Giorgia also mentioned that she continues to be “very good friends” with the actor-producer and is “still very fond of him”.
