Sources say actor Hrithik Roshan met with director Ashutosh Gowarikar to discuss the latter's ambitious project set against the backdrop of the Indus Valley civilisation
Ashutosh Gowarikar recently announced that his next project is a love story set against the backdrop of the Indus Valley civilisation (read: the cities of Mohenjodaro and Harappa). The director is now putting together a team of technicians to ensure that production remains top-of-the-line.

If sources are to be believed, actor Hrithik Roshan, who is currently shooting for Siddharth Anand’s upcoming film Bang Bang, met with Gowariker and had a long chat with the director.

“Gowarikar has finished the pre-production work now and has started casting actors for the film. Hrithik Roshan recently met with him at a hotel in Delhi. They were seen chatting for a few hours; it was probably about his upcoming project,” says a source.
Another source reveals that German cinematographer Karl Walter Lindenlaub has been signed on to shoot the Indus Valley civilisation (dating back to 2600 BC) for the film. Karl has been the director of photography for a number of A-list Hollywood projects such as Independence Day, Stargate, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, The Jackal, and The Haunting, to name a few. To add to this, buzz has it that AR Rahman will compose music for the film.
