Priyanka Chopra was spotted at an event with a doctor in tow leading to speculation about her health. Buzz was that she had hurt her back badly hence the medical attention. At the event, the actress was seen taking a break and popping pills.

A source says, "She could not stand for a long time nor could she talk at a stretch. She was feeling rather unwell throughout the event."

It is also believed that the actress attended a party — where she'd committed her presence — the same night before calling it a day. This apparently worsened her condition.

Adds the source, "Priyanka's neck was aching due to severe cold and her voice had become heavy. She could not cancel her commitments as she had to immediately take off for Bangkok for an ad shoot."

The actress also mentioned her health problems on a micro-blogging site. "Atchooooo!blinded by the flu!!! Ugh! Hate sickness..Gotta find my mo Jo in all this sneezing n coughing! On my way Wit my steamer curling into bed. Atchoo a book in hand,a song in My heart.small gestures that make your day r the best."(sic) read her latest tweet.

Priyanka's spokesperson says, "She is presently shooting for an ad in Bangkok. Contrary to rumours, her back is alright. She was down with flu due to which the doctor accompanied her to the event and is also with her in Bangkok."
