The actress, who is currently busy with her comeback vehicle 'Jazbaa', had recently shot for some intense scenes. But as luck would have it, the studio lost the footage and she was asked to redo the sequence.
Says an insider, "Aishwarya had an important scene in a rail yard, where she had to scream and render some emotional dialogues. The shoot went on for one full day and it turned out well. However, the next day, we learnt that the studio had lost the entire footage."
Consequently, Ash couldn't accompany husband Abhishek and mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan to Delhi. A unit hand says, "We discussed the problem with her and she cancelled her ticket to reshoot the sequence. After it was done, she took a night flight to Delhi and will attend Amitji's award function today."
'Jazbaa' director Sanjay Gupta confirms the story, saying, "This is called the Murphy's law — just when she outperformed herself in really tough and difficult conditions, we lost the footage due to a technical glitch."
