Last night, Vishal Bhardwaj announced on social media that the shoot of his Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone-starrer has been delayed. He wrote, "Pushing back film by a few months, @irrfank down with jaundice and @deepikapadukone with resurfaced back issue caused during Padmaavat. While prepping, was transported to Maqbool days. Stunning look tests, can't wait to start shoot. Sending pyaar and duaaen to my Ustara and Afshan (sic)."

Irrfan Khan is suffering from jaundice, and the actor has thus put all his professional commitments on hold due to the illness. Irrfan has been advised to take rest. "The doctors have strictly advised complete bed rest for Irrfan. His team is working on rescheduling all his commitments in the best interest of all causing as minimal as issues to everyone," his publicist said in a statement.
