The trailer launch of Rajinikanth’s film 'Kochadaiiyaan' (directed by his daughter Soundarya) had several B-Town folk in attendance which included the Bachchans (Amitabh, Jaya and Aishwarya), Kajol and filmmakers Shekhar Kapur, Subhash Ghai, Balki, Ramesh Sippy, K S Ravikumar among others in attendance.

Speaking on the occasion, Big B referred to Rajinikant as family. He also said, “He is so humble. When we get time off screen, we discuss life and cinema.”
