Singer Aditya Narayan's acting career did not exactly take off post Vikram Bhatt's 'Shaapit' (2010). He was slated to feature in Marathi filmmaker Ravi Jadhav's Bollywood debut, 'Banjo'.

Since it revolves around musicians, Aditya was pencilled in for the Riteish Deshmukh-Nargis Fakhri starrer in a stellar role. But a few days prior to the shoot, Aditya did a rethink and opted out, citing date issues.
The makers then roped in Aditya Kumar, best remembered as Perpendicular in 'Gangs Of Wasseypur' (2012). He has already begun shooting for the film.
