Superstar Aamir Khan who will be seen next in "Secret Superstar" says he was in two minds about doing the role and he in fact did a screen test for it.
"After the narration I was convinced I want to do the film but I was not sure....convinced about the role. As this role is completely different from me. I felt I shouldn't disturb this film by being on board for it," Aamir told reporters here at the teaser launch of "Secret Superstar".
"I told Advait (director) I will do screen test for this film and I did it. After doing the screen test we thought I could do this role," he said.
Aamir is making an appearance in his former manager Advait Chandan's directorial debut film "Secret Superstar".
In the teaser that was released today the "PK" star was seen in a quirky avatar.
"This look is Advait's idea. My character is interesting, my character is tadka. It is something I haven't done before.
I am integral part of the film," he said. Produced by Aamir and Kiran Rao along with Zee Studios the film is set to release on August 4 next year.
