While filming in Macau recently, the cast of Double Dhamaal faced serious water troubles. A particular sequence, which was shot near a port, required Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaafery, Riteish Deshmukh and Ashish Chowdhry to get completely drenched in water.

The only problem was that the water body in that locality was highly polluted. Even the locals swear off going there and if they have to, get themselves vaccinated immediately.
The actors had to be shown emerging from the water. Director Indra Kumar did not want to risk his actors contracting skin infections. The solution? The crew arranged for a large amount of bottled mineral water.
But what began as splashing water over each other to prepare for the shot, slowly turned into a riot of sorts as the actors, close friends in real life, got mischievous and began splashing water on each other. "It was a sort of a mini Holi sans the colours," reveals a source from the sets.
