'Bareilly Ki Barfi' is undoubtedly one of the most awaited films of the year. The refreshing and pleasing storyline has got everyone hooked to witness the drama that unfolds in this small town set film.

What has got everyone intrigued is the lead character of the film, 'Bitti'. As we learned from the trailer, Bitti is a rebel. The bold, vibrant, chirpy girl is often termed as outspoken too. The small town girl with big dreams is not the ordinary Bareilly girl. Bitti does break dance, smokes cigarettes and sometimes even drinks alcohol.

The BTS video of 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' showcases how Kriti Sanon became Bitti. It also gives us more insights into the life of Bitti.

Kriti Sanon expressed her views on Bitti saying, "I completely love Bitti, she a little chhurrat, bindass, bratty."

From the video, we learn that Bitti works at the electricity department.

Director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari talked about how she got the Bitti out in Kriti Sanon, "I told her one thing, just be yourself, and just be as you are at home. How you stay, how you live, how you eat, the little things." She further added how she got Bitti to be a simple girl, " We hardly made her hair. We told her if you have to go out and you just have to tie a pony tail, how would you do it. She showed how I said that's exactly what you need to do in the film as well."

Talking about the character, Kriti Sanon further added, "The only problem in Bitti's life is, she isn't getting married. That's not her problem, that's her mother's problem. She (Bitti)  doesn't want to just get married to anybody. She wants that one person who loves her the way she is."

Revealing what exactly 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' is, the book, as well as the character, the actress, said, " While she's reading that book, that author is talking about a girl who is exactly like her. But he's talking in a very good manner, in a very positive manner so she feels there's at least somebody who feels that how ever she is, she is good and that's how the chase starts and the story unfolds."

The film also stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao. Ayushmann's character Chirag Dubey owns a printing press and Rajkummar as Pritam Vidrohi is a saree vendor.

'Bareilly Ki Barfi' is a slice of life film with an unusual love triangle. The content of the film looks promising with its intriguing plot and appealing presentation.

The trailer of the film has got everyone hooked and the music of the film is winning hearts. The songs 'Sweety Tera Drama', 'Nazm Nazm' and 'Twist Kamariya' are ruling charts.

'Bareilly Ki Barfi' is the collaborative effort between Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, creative producer Juno Chopra and writer Nitesh Tiwari of Dangal fame and Shreyas Jain.

Nitesh Tiwari and Shreyas Jain contributed to a power packed script to Juno Chopra's sphere headed execution while Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari captured perfect frames.
