Vyjayanthimala Bali will return to the big screen

Renowned yesteryear actress Dr Vyjayanthimala Bali had taken to a self-imposed exile in the early ’70s and has never been seen on the celluloid ever since. The actress will finally return to the big screen to convey an important message in Sandeep Malani’s Janleva 555.

Malani says, “Producer Kalpana Pandit and I had approached the legendary Vyjayanthimalaji requesting her to lend her name to the project. The significance of the social message in the film is huge. We filmed her at her ancestral residence in Chennai.”

While talking about the film, the veteran adds, “I am glad to know that the film has been made to help acquire ventilator systems and supply to hospitals. It’s very useful for people in the villages and especially for children who die of snakebites. I request everybody to watch this film because it will be one of its kind.”

Kalpana, who also stars in the film, sums up, “There can be no bigger blessing for my maiden home production than receiving the good wishes of the first original superstar of Indian cinema.”

Sonu Sood to promote Janleva 555
Sonu Sood has decided to step up in support of Jaanleva 555 and will be leaving no stone unturned to promote the film. Prabhu Deva and dancer-turned-actress Sudha Chandran have also pledged their support for the film.
