Bachchan, who has filed a complaint with Indian Film and Television Production Council, tells hitlist, “We were shooting a Holi song at Shiv Mandir temple in Wai. We were about to take the last shot at around 5:50 pm, when Khan stopped the shoot and asked me to pay for an additional half-day shift. I requested him to give us a few extra minutes to wrap up the shoot, but he humiliated me in front of the crew.”
He adds that he wanted to finish shooting as the location was available to them only for that day. “The Federation of Western India Cine Employees allows grace period of an hour if it is the last day of a film’s shoot. I have incurred a loss of Rs 25 lakh due to this incomplete shoot and I have now registered a complaint against Khan with our association,” he says.
Khan, on the other hand, says that the dancers were made to work extra hours. “Our dancers were made to shoot in the burning sun with very few breaks. Some girls from the group even fainted due to the heat. On the last day of the shoot, our call time was 5:45 am and we were told that the shoot will get over by 4 pm. But this didn’t happen. I had no option but to demand payment for an additional half-day shift,” he says.
