Vidya Balan says it is not tough for married actresses to find good roles in Bollywood as the industry reflects the changes happening in the society.

There was time in Bollywood when it was believed that an actresses' career is over post marriage.

"I'm a proud 37-year-old. Women's career are not stopping after they get married or after they have children. So, that's going to be true even in films. Why should it be any different for female actors?

"Writers get inspired by real life people and from real life incidents. And when those changes are happening in society it's bound to be seen on screen," Vidya said while promoting her film "Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh" here.

She feels more performance oriented roles are being written for actresses now.

"The kind of roles that we're getting have also really changed. The horizon has widened."

Also present at the event was Vidya's co-star from the film, Arjun Rampal, who said age really doesn't matter in movies.

"I think age is something in mind only. It's not something which should bother someone," he said.

Directed by Sujoy Ghosh the movie is scheduled to release this Friday.
