Anya or Divau00a0- that's what all of Farah Khan's heroines will be called in all her future productions. Both Farah and hubby Shirish Kunder have decided to name the female characters in their movies after their daughters.
In Alien Sahib, the actress opposite John Abraham will be called Diva while in the Akshay Kumar-starrer Tees Maar Khan, it's Anya. While Farah directs TMK, Alsien Saheb will be directed by Shirish.
Short and sweet
Says Farah, "The names are short and sweet. As they are also ambiguous names, they can fit into any setting and locale." Won't her son Czar feel left out? "He can launch himself when the time comes," she quips.
Meanwhile the Om Shanti Om director has set herself a deadline of the first week of January to pencil in a heroine opposite Akshay for Tees Maar Khan. "We are still looking otherwise we will have to settle for a known name, she says. "For the project with John we need an international face, so may be we will have to scout accordingly."
And what if her heroines have grey shades in films, will she still call them Anya and Diva? "The current two films have the girls playing very sweet characters so they fit perfectly. If at all there is such a persona, we will think about it when the time comes," says Farah who is presently shopping for furnishings for her production office at Andheri."
