Remember when a hawker tried to sell Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty her own book? Well, Twinkle Khanna faced a similar experience when a street vendor tried to sell Mrs Funnybones her own books in Mumbai.

Twinkle Khanna took to Twitter to share her experience. She wrote, "The silver lining to this inky cloud-pirated or otherwise, clearly I am still not past my sell-by date :) #TheLegendOfLakshmiPrasad"

Twinkle Khanna has authored two books so far -- Mrs Funnybones and The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad.

In October this year, Shilpa Shetty faced a similar incident when a roadside hawker tried to sell the actress her book 'The Great Indian Diet' near a traffic signal in Mumbai.

Quite a co-incidence, isn't it?

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, married to Twinkle Khanna, was rumoured to be having an affair with Shilpa Shetty in '90s. Romance apparently blossomed on the sets of their 1994 film 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari', and who could miss their sizzling chemistry in the 'Chura Ke Dil Mera' chartbuster? However, things soured between them and their relationship ended on a bitter note — Shilpa alleged that the Khiladi was two-timing her.

However, they put their past behind. Akshay Kumar teamed up with his ex-flame's hubby Raj Kundra for a business venture. The trio came together for their celebrity-driven home-shopping channel.

Years ago, when Shilpa Shetty was hosting 'Bigg Boss', the two had shared the dais when Akshay had been invited to announce the winner of the reality show. At that time, the first signs of the ice thawing had started to show. Shilpa Shetty had also invited Twinkle Khanna to her son’s birthday party.
