For work
“Textured hair is the current trend, making statements on runways and red carpets all over the world. This look is a firm favourite of Deepika,” says celebrity hair and make-up stylist Daniel Bauer who styled Deepika Padukone for
this look.

Here’s how to get it:
>> Blow-dry your hair and with your finger tips, apply a handful of mousse. For thicker hair, use more, for thinner hair, use less.
>> Tease the hair on the crown and brush the hair at a slight angle which best suits your face. Brush the side sections tightly and pull the hair into a medium-high ponytail. The sides should look smooth, while the crown should have texture and look slightly loose.
>> Divide the ponytail into two sections. Twist and wrap around the knot.
>>Hold in place with hair spray.

For Brunch
“It’s best to use the least amount of products possible for summer,” suggests hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani. Here’s how to achieve the easy, beachy pony like Jennifer Lopez.
>> To achieve this look, start by brushing your hair back into a ponytail (you can also make this a high one if you like).
>> Don’t use a comb, it can make the front look very neat. After fixing the ponytail, use a tong or a straightening iron to achieve the waves. You can also do the tonging before making the ponytail. Spray lightly, and off you go.
>> If your hair is naturally curly, then just scrunch.

For a night out
“A braid is generally a safe style that doesn’t rock the boat, but with the right twist, a braid can rock any look,” says Bauer. Here’s how to get actress/singer Selena Gomez’s warrior braid.
>> First, section the front of your hair, here, create a small bouffon.
>> From the remaining hair, create two ponytails, one very high and one low. Now divide the top ponytail into two sections and twist them around each other and work the twist into the low ponytail and repeat. Tie the remaining strands with an elastic band.
>> With the remaining fringe section, tease the top and smoothen the bottom and fold the sectioned hair into the base of the top knot. The key for this look is tight sides with a loose, twisted braid.
