When two creative minds blend together, you can only expect the unexpected. Almost a year into their marriage, Farhan Furniturewalla and Laila Khan are enjoying the journey of discovery new facets about each other.
Farhan, a worshipper of design and aesthetics, and Laila, the lover of art, have put together their talents to reinvent and re-launch Farhan's home living and d ufffdcor brand Furniturewalla to their new line FW. 
Located at Worli on Dr E Moses Road, FW reflects the warmth in the couple's personalities and will open its doors for you from tomorrow. Farhan and Laila speak to CS about working as a team:
Perfect union
Laila: The last few months have been pretty amazing. We are thoroughly enjoying each other's company. And it is extremely satisfying to share our passions with each other; we feel that for any marriage to work smoothly, it is important to share your passions with your partner. The result of which is the re-launch of our brand.
Farhan: Our synergies have combined so beautifully that we decided to present our thoughts in the form of our work. So Laila will have a wall of her artwork at the Furniturewalla store along with the living and d ufffdcor stuff.
Personal touch
Farhan: My family has been in this business for ages and I personally have been involved for two decades, while my brand is 10 years old. In fact, it was Laila who motivated and pushed me to think of reinventing the brand as we offer something that isn't available in the Indian marketu00a0-- high quality, stylish, contemporary furniture at value prices.
Laila: We have personally sourced and hand-picked every piece of furniture like a fantastic coffee table, a high-backed chair, accessories like lights, accent pieces, bedspreads, etcu00a0-- things that'll add character to your home.
Class apart
Farhan: On our travels abroad, the first place we visit is a home store. And we pick up things that we would like to surround ourselves with, things of superior quality and classic design and that offer a complete satisfaction of having acquired it.
Laila: The Furniturewalla brand has loyal customers, but we now want to introduce them to the FW line and form its own customer loyalty. We want to cater to the design conscious and provide them with the feeling of attainability. And with our rich contemporary and glitzy designs, FW and what it has to offer can fit in any part of the world.
Having fun while working
Laila: We love what we do so much that it isn't really work for us. Farhan has introduced me to design and I've made him a part of my world of art. We are really enjoying building a home together.
Farhan: And this is just a start. In three months time we will introduce FW in Delhi and then proceed down South. At present, we are also working on building a home in Goa. It is almost ready and we are having a blast giving it our design and aesthetic touch.
