T20 interview with Sreesanth

If there's anyone enjoying every moment of the IPL glory, it is S Sreesanth. And it isn't just cricket that he's enjoying. When CS bumped into him at the Chandigarh airport, the Punjab Kings 11 superstar was basking in all the attention that he got.

From obliging fans with autographs to flashing ready smiles at cameras, Sreesanth seemed to be basking in his off-the-field celebrity status. He didn't even notice that he'd dropped his boarding pass till we pointed it out to him. But amidst all the fuss, we managed to snatch a few minutes to discuss cricket:

Bowled over
People have been questioning my ability to bowl in the T20 format, but I think I've done a good job so far. Our first match against the Delhi Daredevils at Mohali was proof enough. I thought we had a great start even though we did end up with a few bad overs. But considering that we managed to put up a fight till the very last ball, even when we were defending a relatively low score, speaks well for our performance. In a format like this, you can never predict what's going to happen. I can't say that a certain team has an edge over the others or that we'd be watching out against any particular team because no T20 match is ever the same. Any of us can win.

Game plan
I'm not planning any strategies for our coming matches because I just want to enjoy the game. I love cricket and I want to give this tournament my best shot. I'd been missing from action for a while, but I'm glad that I'm back in the groove once again.
