Sunil Shetty's baggage goes missing in South Africa again

Sunil Shetty's baggage was robbed while travelling to Durban last week. This is the second time he found himself in a similar situation. Earlier,u00a0 producer Firoz Nadiadwala and he were robbed during the shooting of Hera Pheri.

Says he, "I was travelling from Johannesburg to Durban for the shooting of Anil Kapoor's No Problem. My luggage came to me with the electronic locks broken. Most of my designer clothes and accessories were stolen. I was travelling on South African Airways but I don't hold them responsible. They were helpful and monetarily compen- sated for the loss."

Porters' doing
Sunil feels it was the porters or luggage handlers doing. "It's very sad that it happened. South Africa is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. A decade ago, when I was with Firozbhai while shooting for Hera Pheri, we were also robbed. My designer Navin Shetty, also lost his stuff."

Sunil was upset but he didn't make a big hue and cry with the airlines, "I was upset because I had to report for shooting the next day and I didn't have any clothes to wear but I can't blame anybody. Fortunately, my designer was with me and we went shopping in Durban. In India, too, our cabbies and porters fleece foreigners so how can we blame others? This incident won't reduce my love for SA."

Fallout with Sanju?
Yesterday, Sunil's buddy Sanjay Dutt celebrated his 50th birthday but Sunil wasn't there. The buzz is that the two had fallen out after Sunil's home production EMI bombed.

Sunil says, "What rubbish! If friendships went bust after every flop, there wouldn't be any friends in the industry. I had to come back as I had important meetings, my daughter was going for her holiday and my nephew and niece were in town. I will join the unit of No Problem on August 7. It was great fun shooting with Sanju. We used to catch up for dinner together and had a blast!"
