Is keeping herself in screen-ready shape by doing yoga
Though there is constant buzz every now and then about Sridevi's comeback to the silver screen, the actress has been keeping in top shape ready for the plunge yet again.
Day-by-day Boney Kapoor's wife is looking fitter and younger. Despite two young daughters (Janhavi and Khushi), Sridevi has been religiously doing yoga combined with a balanced diet and exercising.
Helping the Chaalbaaz actress get into her svelte shape has been yoga exponent Manish Tiwari. Sri has been working out with him since the past five years either at her Lokhandwala home or at the gym of a Juhu five-star hotel.
Daily dose
Manish, who has several other B-Town folk as his clients, says, "Sridevi is extremely dedicated. This clearly reflects in how she appears today absolute fit and in top shape.
She works out five days a week without fail. Only with such commitment can results show." Apart from yoga, Sridevi also does cardio exercises and eats sensibly.
"When she came to me, she told me she loved doing yoga. For her it was something that she could do regularly throughout the year.
After having two daughters, Sridevi wanted to shed the flabbiness and get back into her svelte shape," points out Manish.
Busy Boney
Sri has been doing pranayams and suryanamaskars daily. "She is a good student and very down-to-earth in her approach. Yoga helps the body both internally and externally by ridding you of disease and obesity being one of them," adds Manish.
The yoga exponent states that Boney Kapoor, too, did try his hand at yoga for a while "but as he is a busy filmmaker he did not pursue it as religiously like Sridevi to reap its benefits."
Manish, who has trained at the Kaivalyadhama Yoga Research Institute in Lonavla, has been a yoga guru since a decade. He also conducts yoga classes at Bandra.
