In their 7th charity show together, the father-son team showcase yet another remarkable collection of more than 35 photographs featuring the spectacular natural beauty of the Maldives.
Senior Dr Batra discovered his passion for photography when he played the role of the family photographer. This passion took shape as Moody Blues, his exhibition this year, the proceeds from which will go to NGO People for Animals.

Says a proud Dr Batra, "My motto behind doing this exhibition is to bring joy to people's lives. This is one of the reasons why my photographs cost a minimum of Rs 1,000 and maximum Rs 10,000."
He lets on what got him interested in capturing the beauty of Maldives on his camera. "Few years back, the Tsunami hit this tourist destination on the day I was slated to land there for a vacation.

Since then, I was determined to revisit Maldives and capture its beauty. And I must say that I was surprised to see how quickly the city has bounced back," says the doctor.
Adds Dr Akshay Batra, who has also contributed to the exhibition, "It is a proud moment for me that I have finally reached upto my father's expectation because I am a photographer by observation. I am here because I used to carry his backpacks and observed him closelywhen on a photography vacation!"
The exhibition drew a lot of celebrities, friends and artists, who were all in awe of the photographs displayed. Gulshan Grover reveals, "I can't decide what to buy.
I overheard people discussing about the art and trust me, even they can't decide which one is the best." The photographs will be available at all the Dr Batra's clinics in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.
