Sonam Kapoor took to social media to unveil the gritty new poster of the Neerja Bhanot biopic.

On Wednesday, Sonam had shared the first poster of the film.

Directed by Ram Madhvani, the film sees Sonam playing the titular character in the biopic of the brave and courageous 23-year-old flight attendant, Neerja Bhanot, who sacrificed her life to save passengers from the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 on September 5, 1986.

Neerja was then awarded the Ashoka Chakra, making her the youngest and the first woman recipient of the prestigious award.

The film also stars Shabana Azmi and Shekhar Ravjiani in the vital roles.

'Neerja' is slated to release on February 19.
