Sonali Kulkarni is annoyed. Another actress, who had made her debut with the film Natrang, is now working in Marathi films with her name.
"I've been in the industry for 15 years. Though I am not insecure enough to react, I find it very irritating when I get calls (meant for her namesake) asking me to come and dance at some dahi-handi.

This girl has not even once bothered to come up to me and say hello. She is obviously guilty of the fact that she is using my name to get work," says Sonali.
Sonali continues, "An actor has to work with dignity. I do not like the nuisance value that this girl has created in my life by deciding to use my name as her screen name.
I think it is sheer stupidity. You can't get away by telling people you were born with this name, so you can't change it.
I fail to understand what the psyche is behind this decision of hers other than wanting to take complete advantage of my status as an actress."
The identity crisis aside, the actress has much to rejoice about.
Not only has Singham, in which she plays an important cameo, grossed Rs 72 crore at the box office in the first week itself, but she's also expecting her first child by the end of the year.
The actress says, "Nachiket (Pantvaidya, her husband) and I are eagerly waiting for our angel's arrival. We want a healthy child and do not care whether it's a boy or a girl."u00a0
