Sonakshi Sinha to play RAW agent in 'Force 2'

Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who is currently busy shooting for her film 'Akira', will star opposite John Abraham in upcoming action drama 'Force 2'.

The 28-year-old will be seen playing the role of a RAW agent in the Abinay Deo-directed film, which is a sequel to the similarly titled 2011 movie.

Sonakshi announced the news on Twitter on Saturday.

"Yep yep! Told you I had news for you... Super excited to be playing a RAW agent in my next film - FORCE 2,” she posted.

"Force", released in 2011, was directed by Nishikanth Kamath. The film also starred Genelia D'Souza and Vidyut Jamwal.

“Force 2” will be produced by Vipul Shah, who also produced the original film.
