After Karan Johar, Saif Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan took a jibe at Kangana Ranaut at the IIFA awards, writer-editor Apurva Asrani has followed suit.
Yesterday, in a Facebook post, Asrani wrote, "While she struggles to shrug off multiple accusations of stealing scripts/hijacking films, they earn her sympathy with that stupid, nepotistic gag."
In May this year, Asrani had taken on Ranaut for demanding credit as additional story and dialogues writer for Simran, which he had penned. Meanwhile, after Twitterati slammed him for his act, Varun yesterday tweeted, "I express my apology. I am extremely sorry if I have offended or hurt anyone with that act." Last heard, Kangs prefers not to react.
