Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee's 'Aiyaary' has been postponed to February 9, 2018, from January 26. Reason being, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's historical drama 'Padmavati', reportedly now titled 'Padmavat' hitting the marquee on January 25. Another film coming out around the same time is Akshay Kumar's menstrual hygiene film, 'PadMan', releasing on January 25.
Talking about staying rigid and not shifting its date, PadMan's producer Prernaa Arora made it clear that she isn't shifting the dates. When asked Akshay Kumar about the clash, he told PTI, "It is not about competition, it is a very big day, a big week, so all the films can come. Both the films can release on that day. Every film has the right to release whenever they (makers) want, and I am happy for them."
Neeraj Pandey's upcoming espionage thriller 'Aiyaary', starring Sidharth Malhotra, Manoj Bajpayee, and Rakul Preet Singh, revolves around two strong-minded army officers having completely different views, yet right in their own ways. The film portrays Sidharth Malhotra as an army officer sharing a mentor-protégé bond with Manoj Bajpayee.
The trailer of 'Aiyaary' has got everyone hooked and is adding to the excitement of the film.
