'Margarita with a Straw' director Shonali Bose may be part of a documentary on Bollywood being produced by Storm Productions, and which Priyanka Chopra is rumoured to be involved in.

Bose, an Indian-born, US-based filmmaker, has previously written and directed 'Amu', a film focusing on the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

Films with women that lead an anomaly in Indian and Western cinema are something that filmmaker AJ Roy seeks to explore deeply in his documentary about the evolution of Bollywood. Since the documentary focuses exclusively on Bollywood, insiders indicate that it will prominently feature female filmmakers like Pooja Bhatt, Guneet Monga and Dia Mirza, in addition to Bose.

A source close to the development of the documentary said, "Shonali will be in India till her film releases, after that she will be back in the US. The team has already started working on incorporating her vast experience in Bollywood and Hollywood into the film. We think the audience will truly appreciate that insight and intellect of an amazingly unique filmmaker."
