They said false allegations were levelled by Nepali director Aneel Neiupane (that Kriti is a copy of his psycho-thriller, BOB) since they recently discovered that it is easy for anyone to backdate videos on online video streaming channels.
Bajpayee stated that the film had been discussed a year ago. Kriti was shot in February this year and launched on June 22 while BOB was released on YouTube in May. Apart from Manoj, Radhika Apte and Neha Sharma starred in Kriti.
