Rajkummar Rao has found the unlikeliest fan in Shakti Kapoor who claims to absolutely admire him.

Rao and Kapoor are working together in Ramesh Sippy's Shimla Mirchi, when they bonded with each other.

There is also another connect between them — both have graduated from the Film and Television Institute Of India (FTII), Pune. So, Rajkummar keeps referring to Kapoor as his senior from the FTII.
