"Shah Rukh recently had expressed his desire to interact with the varsity students. In this regard he even contacted the varsity's vice chancellor P.K. Abdul Azis," AMU official spokesperson Rahat Abrar told reporters in this Utar Pradesh town, some 300 km from state capital Lucknow.
"They had just wished to interact with the students. They had not mentioned any particular topic on which they want to interact. So, AMU is inviting them on their personal wishes," Abrar said.
"Of the three, Javed Akhtar is an alumnus of our institution," he said.
