Shah Rukh Khan plays a dwarf in director Aanand L Rai's next film, and the actor says he has already started prepping for the role.
This is the first time the 51-year-old has collaborated with Rai for a feature film. Shah Rukh, however, claims his look in the movie will be different from Kamal Haasan's Appu Raja (1990).
"My look is very different from Haasan's in Appu Raja. We have done the test, and we are through with the trailers. We will be releasing it (his look in the film) properly. It's important that the audience accepts our effort. I think we will begin work in a day or two," the star told PTI in an interview.
SRK said the team will start filming for the project next month. "We are hoping to start shooting March 21 onwards," he says.
As per reports, the film is called Bandhua, but Shah Rukh says the team is yet to zero in on the title. "We are still working on the title. It's [Bandhua] the name of some other film."
