Amid the debate over the demand for ban of Pakistani actors in India after the Uri terror attack, playback singer Shaan says the artiste exchange won't be missed much. "They have been banned and I respect that decision, anyway the artist exchange has always been one sided exchange which we will not miss much... these are my thoughts,"
Shaan told PTI. The Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena had recently raised objections over Pakistani artistes working in the Indian film industry after the Uri attack.
Also, the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) had urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to bar work permit of Pakistan artists till the problem between the two countries is resolved. Shaan will be performing live at a concert on October 15 at Phoenix Marketcity in Kurla.
"There's always a nervous energy before an event, no matter how often you perform. I'm quite thrilled to perform. It's going to be amazing," he added. The "Bum Bum Bole" hitmaker will be singing a mashup of old classics, English songs and latest chartbusters along with his own hits.
