In a recent interaction, Sara Ali Khan spoke about the pros and cons of being a star kid, and how the people perpetually want you to fail for hailing from a film family

Sara Ali Khan made a strong impression about her demeanour even before arriving on the celluloid with Kedarnath in December last year. The ripples began to appear when she made an appearance with her father and actor Saif Ali Khan on Koffee With Karan. The way she conducted herself, filled with piquancy and calmness, coupled with a chirpy and charming nature, she was clearly a winner all the way.

However, the debate around Nepotism is not likely to end anytime soon. And at the recent event, We The Women, she addressed the issue once again. This is what she had to say, "With any form of privilege, there is a setback to it. You are as burdened as you want to be, and you take as much pressure as you want to. I am acutely aware that I come from a film background and, therefore, the scrutiny and attention I receive is more than it would have been otherwise. But I don't look at it as a burden, because if I do, then I won't be able to perform."
She continued, "Star children do get it easy, but it also comes with scrutiny and there are a lot of people who are waiting for a star kid to make a mistake or fall. I am aware of that. But I don't take all that seriously."
After the success of Kedarnath and Simmba, Khan has two films lined-up for 2020. The first one is Valentine's Day release, the Imtiaz Ali directorial, touted to be a sequel to Love Aaj Kal, also starring Randeep Hooda. The next one is a Labour Day release (May 1), titled Coolie No. 1, starring Varun Dhawan and directed by the original director David Dhawan.
We are eagerly looking forward to watching both the films and see how does she fare in both of them. One is a romance and the other a comedy, and we want to witness how she dabbles the two different genres in the same year.
