Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan has tweeted his support for the Finance Minister in the race to be India's next President.
Pranab Mukherjee has received support from an unexpected quarter. Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan, who’s not known for being vocal about political issues, has lent his support to the Finance Minister in the Presidential race.

Tweeting his support in Hindi, the actor wrote on the micro-blogging site, “Pranab da ka banna toh banta hai boss…”
Salman Khan supports Pranab Mukherjee in the presidential race.
Of course, Pranab Mukherjee and the Congress would be hope that Salman’s backing would convince some of the fence-sitters in joining their camp.
Now, whether that happens remains to be seen, but the Bollywood actor’s support sure is good news for the FM.
Meanwhile, Salman also was appreciative of former President APJ Abdul Kalam withdrawing from the race.
Salman tweeted, “Totally agree Superb gesture by kalaam sir, hats off!, lots of respect , too deadly na ? Arre boss v have some amazing people too.”u00a0
