British authorities rescind permission to John's team to shoot at Leicester Square, so the Hollywood star can premiere his film there
John Abraham and Abbas Tyrewala had been thrilled when they got the necessary permission from the British authorities to shoot pivotal scenes of their film 1-800-LOVE at the famous Leicester Square in London from May 11. But just before the unit was to leave for London, the authorities withdrew their permission. Apparently, Russell Crowe wanted to hold the premiere of his film Robin Hood at the same venue on May 14 and the authorities did not want the B-towners shooting there at the time. u00a0

Abbas apparently explained to the officials that his team would wrap up their shoot before the premiere but the Brits were just not ready to cooperate. Abbas is now trying hard to find another location in London, which will fill the requirements. Postponing the shoot is out of the question as it would not be possible for them to get the requisite visas and work permits for the entire unit once again.
