This time, however, Rishi Kapoor's tweet on Hillary Clinton, who has accepted the Democratic Party's historic presidential nomination, has landed him in trouble.
Rishi Kapoor
Rishi Kapoor tweeted a meme, which was apparently shared with him by Abhishek Bachchan, that has a photo of Hillary Clinton coughing. The text reads, "Monica, is this right?"
The text refers to Monica Lewinsky, the White House intern with whom Hillary Clinton's husband and former president Bill Clinton had an affair.
While sharing the meme, Rishi Kapoor wrote, "History being checked! Tx for it ABjr. If it wasn't RIGHT,it would have LEFT a bad taste."
Here's the tweet:

Twitterati were left fuming and lashed out at Rishi Kapoor for his 'distasteful' tweet.
Here's how they reacted:

(Cont) We'll all lose our heads. Newshour will have a debate about the meme. Film industry will shit themselves.

@chintskap On the day she has become the first nominee of a major party in US, all you can think of is how she satisfies her husband?

@russpo @chintskap Imagine your family member in the same meme and you will find why it is misogynist
— Vivek (@vivek17b) July 28, 2016
Before the Hillary Clinton meme, Rishi Kapoor also took a dig at Donald Trump:
Whosoever thought of this, doff my hat! Expect another howler. pic.twitter.com/HfQLlBLwjq
— Rishi Kapoor (@chintskap) July 27, 2016
Rishi Kapoor, however, was not sorry for his tweets and hit back saying:
Why are people so judgmental and moralistic on this platform? Don't like it,delete me,like I do. Fuck you! It's my prerogative to comment
— Rishi Kapoor (@chintskap) July 27, 2016
