Mithun Chakraborthy gets a replay of his hit track in Golmaal 3

Over 25 years on, Mithun Chakraborthy will relive his I Am A Disco Dancer days. The actor gets jiggy to the track he was synonymous with in a modern-day setting for Golmaal 3.

Buzz is that director Rohit Shetty and producer Ashtavinayak are securing the rights of Bappi Lahiri's chartbuster from B Subhash's film, Disco Dancer. It will be sung by Sudesh Bhosale for G3. Bappida will also render another track for the comic caper.

Says a source, "Right now they are working on securing the copyrights for the music. Only after the paperwork is done can they talk about it."

The song will be shot later this month during the Goa schedule of the comic caper. A special set is being erected for the shoot. Ratna Pathak Shah who is cast opposite Mithun, will also feature in the song.

Apparently, when Mithunda was roped in for G3, co-star Ajay Devgn suggested to buddy (and director) Rohit that he must have the star doing something on the lines of Disco Dancer.
Rohit Shetty remained unavailable for comment.
