Ranveer Singh to be replaced by 'big star' as cola brand ambassador?

Ranveer Singh

Ranveer Singh replaced Salman Khan as endorser of a soft drink brand a few months ago. Singh was the ideal choice because of his popularity post the success of 'Bajirao Mastani' (2015). However, in six months as brand ambassador, Singh has only shot for one advertisement for the product.

Given that he is caught up with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming film, 'Padmavati', the actor hasn't been able to devote enough time to endorse the brand.

A source reveals that Ranveer Singh also interferes in the creative space and has requested the cola drink owners to up their ante. This hasn't gone down well with the brand. Rumours are rife that the actor may no longer endorse the product, considering his contract expires soon.

The brand's management want to get a new face, but are keen that the celebrity be a big star. Their options include Varun Dhawan and Ranbir Kapoor, among others.
