Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar recently, in a tell-all-tale spoke about his battle with substance abuse 2017 and how he came to terms with the drug addiction. The actor wanted to start afresh and seems like he's religiously adhering to it. Prateik, son of actor-politician Raj Babbar and late actress Smita Patil, will be seen playing the antagonist in Tiger Shroff's upcoming 2018 offering, ‘Baaghi 2'. On the personal front, the actor is all set to exchange rings with his rumoured girlfriend Sanya Sagar.
A source told Bombay Times that the 31-year-old actor will get engaged to Sanya on January 22, 2018. The couple has known each other for the past eight years but started dating in early 2017.
"The engagement will be a close-knit affair. Their families are tight-lipped about it, as Prateik wants to go a little easy and stay away from the limelight unless it's work-related. While they have decided to get engaged in Lucknow, the date is subject to change as the families are yet to finalise a few things," confirmed a source to the daily.
Talking about Sanya Sagar's background, she is a 27-year-old writer-director-editor. Sanya hails from Lucknow and is a politician's daughter. Reportedly, Sanya has graduated from the National Institute of Fashion Technology in fashion communication. Sanya also has a one-year diploma in practical filmmaking from the London Film Academy and has worked as a production assistant on the Danny Huston-starrer, 'The Last Photograph', and as a production runner on the Salma Hayek short, 11th Hour.
The couple has been spotted on multiple occasions at their dinner dates.
