Pooja's ordeal

On returning from her three-month Singapore vacation, Pooja Misrrah was approached by reality show Big Switch's production house. Though Pooja refused to participate since she is first and foremost a VJ, the production house's persistence won.

But nothing went according to the promises made, says a source close to Pooja. "The contestants were super political and made Pooja the target because of her popularity." But the most outrageous thing was the way the production house edited the footage to portray her negatively, adds the source.

He further says that the contestants were cheating openly and were conspiring to eliminate Pooja as she would win every given task. Moreover, the contestants were blatantly breaking the rules of the contract.

"They were carrying cash in their pockets, making calls to their family, drinking and openly rolling joints. I suggest Vaibhav Modi did a check on the facts before making any press statements," says the source.

And to top it all, when Pooja wrapped up the shoot, she had a muscle tear in her calf and had to take injections to survive the harsh environment of the show. "I had black and blue marks all over my body, and my skin was exposed to so much sun that the sunburn is even evident now," reveals Pooja. And all this for charity!
