Sania Mirza announced at an awards event that if a biopic is made on her, she would want close friend Parineeti Chopra to essay the part on screen. This might turn into reality soon, as filmmakers Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar have expressed their desire to make a biopic on the tennis star. "There should be a biopic on Sania.
The fact that she continued to play for India even after her marriage [with Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik] gives me goosebumps," Shetty said on the set of the TV show, India's Next Superstars.
Parineeti Chopra has been signed to play the female lead in Akshay Kumar's 'Kesari'. The official announcement of this news was made by the film's producer, Karan Johar.
Reportedly, Parineeti Chopra will be seen essaying the character of Akshay Kumar's wife in the film. Earlier, there were speculations of Katrina Kaif playing this role. However, it was later reported that Katrina backed out of the film considering Salman Khan's withdrawal as one of the film's producers. This will be Parineeti Chopra's second outing with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions after 'Hasee Toh Phasee' opposite Sidharth Malhotra.
