Raat Kitni in Sonu Nigam's voice is a soothing track from J P Dutta's upcoming war drama Paltan. The song takes us back to the iconic 'Sandase Aate hai' by the musical trio of Javed Akhtar, Sonu Nigam, and Anu Malik with J P Dutta. Raat Kitni speaks volume of the men at the border, who keep their life and family at stake to save the nation. It talks about the journey of a soldier's life and what keeps them going at the barren borderland. Apart from the whole cast, the song also showcases real-life soldiers.

The makers tweeted the song by saying, "Kitni kahaniyaan aur yaadien le aati hai har raat..here's to reminiscing the memories that gives our soldiers the strength and hope to survive it all #Paltan @ZeeStudios_ #JPFilms @RealNidhiDutta @Javedakhtarjadu @The_AnuMalik #SonuNigam [sic]."

With Javed Akhtar's Lyrics and Anu Malik's music, Raat Kitni surely bring backs the memories of Sandese Aate Hai from Border. This will be the third time that Sonu Nigam will be reuniting with director JP Dutta after Border and LOC Kargil along with Javed Akhtar and Anu Malik.

With power-packed performances, JP Dutta's Paltan promises to tell the riveting, untold story of the bravest of Indian soldiers on the Nathula Military clashes on 1967.

The national-award-winning director, JP Dutta had earlier treated the audience with war films like Border, LOC Kargil, and Refugee among others. The third film of the war trilogy will see an ensemble cast featuring Jackie Shroff, Arjun Rampal, Harshvardhan Rane, Gurmeet Choudhary, Abdul Qadir Amin, Sonu Sood, Sonal Chauhan, Esha Gupta, Monica Gill, Rohit Roy, Siddhant Kapoor, Luv Sinha, and Dipika Kakar.

Presented by Zee Studios and produced by JP Dutta Films, 'Paltan' is directed by J. P. Dutta and is slated to release on September 7, 2018.
