Akshay Kumar's PadMan is buzzing for all the right reasons. The first track, that the makers released was the romantic song, 'Aaj se teri', sung by Arijit Singh, was an instant hit. Akshay and Radhika Apte's chemistry was lauded in the song and now the makers have released another song today, picturised on Sonam Kapoor and Akki.
The song video takes you to the journey of Akshay's character - how he became ultimately the PadMan. Hu Ba Hu also highlights how crucial is Sonam's role in the film. All we can say is, Hu Ba Hu will surely take your excitement to watch the film, a notch higher.Kausar Munir has penned its lyrics, while Amit Trivedi is on vocals. Check out the song right here:
PadMan revolves around a man who produces cost-effective sanitary napkins for the naïve women living in the remote areas and educating them about its importance. Inspired by the life of Coimbatore-based Arunachalam Muruganantham, who found a way to make affordable sanitary napkins for women in his village, PadMan is set to release during the Republic Day weekend on January 26, 2018. The film has been written and directed by R. Balki.
In an interview to mid-day as part of the conversation series, Sit with Hitlist, Akshay Kumar had opened up on changing the film's release date from April 13 to Republic Day, 2018. He said, "It stemmed from the fact that a holiday release is an advantageous business proposition."
